Jewish Chronicle — Britain’s most influential Jewish newspaper
Language: English

Session: Founded in 1841, the Jewish Chronicle is Britain’s third-oldest newspaper still in print today and the oldest Jewish news outlet in the world. But for a community publication, it also punches above its weight: the JC has shown as recently as the summer of 2018 how it is capable of influencing Britain’s national conversation.

This session will examine some of the biggest stories covered by the Jewish Chronicle in the 178 years of its existence and consider the challenges it faces today to survive.
